Picpress books have a few key features:

Book Sizes

We offer both rectangular and square books in a large range of  sizes, click here to go into our pricing chart for more detail.

Page quantities

The base price for any book includes 12 pages, but you can have anything up to 160 pages! Beyond 12 pages you are charged a per page price for each additional page.

Page sizing

The size of either hard or soft cover books will be the outside size of the book, and may vary up to 5mm all around.

Binding

We use the latest Sewing,Perfect Binding or saddle stiching systems to make a durable attractive finish to your books.

Soft Covers

With soft covers you can choose to have either a plain coloured  cover, or a customisable cover with writing and pictures. The colour of your cover is selected in the shopping cart after your order has been submitted.

Hard Covers

With hard covers you can choose buckram cloth of many different colours,black leather or a customisable cover with writing and pictures. The colour of leather or buckram cloth you choose is made after the album design is submitted, in the shopping cart.

Dust Jackets

Custom hard covers can also have a dust jacket with the same image as the book cover, you can order it in the shopping cart.

Paper, vanish and lamination

Your book will be printed on high quality paper, you can also opt for either a matte or gloss varnish or laminate, the laminate is a little more expensive, but gives a richer finish.

Ink

Normally we print with four colours; Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, but you can order an additional two inks to be used, a Light Magenta and Light Cyan. These additional inks really smooth out skin tones and fine detail, but can cause some solid colours to appear not so smooth. You order the six colour option in the shopping cart.
